DRIVING:
From the South:
Take (6th) Avenue to (8th) Street. Make a right on 8th St. and a Right at the next block, which is McDougal. If you choose to use the Parking Garage, then go a block further on 8th to 5th Avenue, take a right on 5th and a right on Waverly Place. The Garage is immediately on your right.

From the North:
Take 5th Avenue to the end, which is Washington Square Park, turn Left at the Arch onto Waverly. You can use the Garage immediately on the right. The Hotel is ½ block further at the corner of Waverly and McDougal.

NY SUBWAY and PATH from New Jersey:
Use the West 4th Street stop. There are a number of trains which stop there. West Fourth Street – Washington Square is an express station on the IND Sixth Avenue Line and IND Eighth Avenue Line Lines of the New York City Subway, located at the intersection of West 4th Street and 6th Avenue in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. It is served at all times by the A, E, D, and F trains; by the B and V trains on weekdays; and by the C at all times except late nights.

Lyndhurst Castle, Tarrytown, NY

See the latest designs from The Joan Michlin Collection on the spectacular grounds of Lyndhurst Castle in Tarrytown, NY during Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst, which takes place from September 10th to 12th.

This is one of the best-known, best-attended outdoor arts festivals in the nation, held on the grounds of the gracious Lyndhurst Estate, just 20 miles north of New York City.

Directions:

Lyndhurst is located in Westchester County, New York, on the eastern shore of the Hudson River about 1/2 mile south of the Tappan Zee Bridge toll plaza. It is on Route 9 in Tarrytown, New York (635 South Broadway).

Lyndhurst is also accessible on Metro North via the Hudson Line to Tarrytown. Take a cab from the train station to Lyndhurst 635 South Broadway (a five minute trip).

FROM NEW YORK CITY AND LONG ISLAND:
N.Y. State Thruway to the exit just before the Tappan Zee Bridge marked Route 9 Tarrytown. Make a left at the end of the ramp onto Route 119. Take Route 119 to Route 9 south (left turn) which is called Broadway in Tarrytown. Lyndhurst is 1/2 mile ahead on right.

FROM NEW ENGLAND AND POINTS EAST:
Route 287 west. Get off at the exit marked Route 119/Tarrytown. Take Route 119 west (right turn off ramp) to Route 9 south (left turn) which is called Broadway in Tarrytown. Lyndhurst is 1/2 mile ahead on your right.

FROM UPSTATE NEW YORKTake the N.Y. State Thruway south to the toll plaza at the end of the Tappan Zee Bridge.Through the tolls, take the first exit (about 1000 ft. past toll booths) marked Route 9/Tarrytown.Make a left at the end of the exit ramp onto Route 9 south which is called Broadway in Tarrytown. Lyndhurst is 1/2 mile ahead on your right.

FROM SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY, PENNSYLVANIA AND POINTS SOUTH AND WEST:
Take the N.J. Turnpike north to Route 80 east. Cross the George Washington Bridge and follow signs for the Major Deegan Expressway north/upstate. The Major Deegan becomes the N.Y. State Thruway at the New York City Line. Continue on the Thruway to the exit just before the Tappan Zee Bridge marked Route 9 Tarrytown. Make a left at the end of the ramp onto Route 119. Take Route 119 to Route 9 south (left turn) which is called Broadway in Tarrytown. Lyndhurst is 1/2 mile ahead on your right.

Satellite Lots in use are Kraft Foods at 555 South Broadway and an additional lot at 155 White Plains Road.

Williamsburg, VA

Don't miss Joan Michlin at the 42nd annual celebration of An Occasion for the Arts, Colonial Williamsburg's premier art show and music festival.

This juried show brings the work of talented fine artists, local youth artists, and lively performing artists together for an exciting day of youth and family activities.

Directions by car:
Williamsburg is midway between Richmond and Norfolk on I-64 (exit 238 - VA-143 toward US-60/Camp Peary/Williasmburg/ Colonial Williamsburg).

After exiting, look for the Colonial Williamsburg, Downtown Williamsburg directional signs (blue with red-and-white “ribbon”). Follow the signs for VA Rte 132 about a half a mile. After passing through the traffic light at Rte 60 the road with split:

Stay right on VA-132 S ( This is North Henry Street). Most of the public parking for An Occasion For The Arts is off of Henry Street.

Directions by train:
Amtrak serves the Williamsburg Transportation Center with a connecting train from Washington, D.C. and the lower Peninsula. The center is just 3 block from An Occasion For The Arts and the Historic Area.
